What is the recommended thickness of a business card?
Thickness of a business card is usually measured in points (pt). The higher the number of pt, the thicker the card. As a standard business card we recommend 14pt, but modern thick business cards can be up to 32 pt and more, although weights can vary by paper type.
How should I decide, which paper to use?
Contact your desired printer and make an appointment to feel various types of paper and see how they look. We collect at E-CREATE different types of paper for our customers. Mostly you will chose between Coated and Uncoated (Offset), Silk Finish, Matt, Gloss, Recycled and Processing recovered paper.
